Light and video installation; fluorescent & LED lights, smoke and video

 

This 200 square metre light installation on the facade of the Danish Design Centre in Copenhagen told a story in three scenes about a girl falling out in space. Gravity failed her in a narrative of  loneliness, disconnection and non-belonging, the difficulty of feeling at home. 

 

A girl falls upwards, slowly at first, then faster and faster. Then the trip goes on into space where light-structures made by thousands of small lights are contrasted by strong and dominating bright lights.
